Calling for responses from BACAPH members

The prevention green paper finally arrived on the evening of Theresa May’s departure from her role as Prime Minister. The paper promises that the 2020s will be the decade of proactive, predictive, and personalised prevention.

The arguments for increased investment in prevention are well rehearsed, but does this consultation paper offer practical and sustainable solutions to the fundamental questions about improving quality and duration of life at a population level?

This is your chance to express your opinion, if you are a resident of one of the other three nations of the United Kingdom please feel free to share your experience since you may well be ahead in prevention policy.

The BACAPH consultation will run to 20 September 2019, in order to meet the DHSC deadline of 30 September 2019. The BACAPH response form is available here.
